Authorities say Donald Love, 47, of Hilton was issued tickets for failure to yield at an intersection, failure to keep right, unreasonable speed, passing a red light and open container.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say his pickup truck was heading north on Washington Street when it went through a red light. It struck an SUV heading west on West Linden Avenue around 8 a.m. Friday.

The driver of the SUV, John Marcaitis, 53, of Fairport, was pronounced dead at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Marcaitis worked in the IT Department at Monroe Number One BOCES in Fairport.
