New Jersey Man Gets Probation For Email Threats to Wegmans Executives
A New Jersey man and former Wegmans employee admitted in federal court that he sent threatening emails to the grocery store chain's CEO and president.

Hans Ni was sentenced Wednesday to five years probation.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Resnick handled the case, and said Ni sent emails from a public library in New Jersey, and threatened to kill the CEO Danny Wegman and president Colleen Wegman.

The e-mails were designed to look like they were sent by Ni's former supervisor, who was involved with Ni's termination from Wegmans in 2005.

Ni said in court he never intended to harm the Wegman family; instead, he was trying to get his former supervisor in trouble.
