A prayer walk was held to remember a Corfu teenager who died in a car crash Sunday evening in Orleans County.

Sheriffs deputies say Kelsey Milks, 19, died after the car she was riding in was hit head-on by a mini-van in the town of Shelby.

Those who knew Kelsey say she was caring and very involved in the community. They hope that their support will bring comfort to the family.

"It helps because we know that she touched so many people, and it makes us feel better that everybody's here to help support us," said Kelsey's younger sister Aleah Milks.

Milks was a 2011 graduate of Pembroke High School.
