State Police and the Livingston County District Attorney are investigating alleged misconduct by Livingston County jail deputies.

Greg McCaffrey says the investigation involves time cards and falsifying documents. He says the county and sheriff's department are cooperating.

McCaffrey says the investigation started within the last two weeks.

"They're hard-working professionals, and until we know more there. They come everyday and they work hard, they do their job and we just want to make sure that time is being recorded accurately, and whatever's going on either stops or they're held accountable," said McCaffrey, (D), Livingston County District Attorney.
