Thousands from across the country are gathering at Webster Schroeder High School to say goodbye and pay their respects to Chiapperini, a lieutenant with and public information officer for the Webster police department.

Hundreds of firefighters attending the funeral are being bused from Webster Thomas High School to Webster Schroeder High School, where the service will take place.

After the funeral, a smaller procession will proceed from Schroeder High school to West Webster Cemetery. That will include the procession driving past the intersection shown, and then past the West Webster Fire Station on Gravel Road, before ending at West Webster Cemetery at the intersection of Maple and Ridge roads.
