Woman Accused of Faking Breast Cancer Pleads Guilty
The Ontario County woman accused of fraud for allegedly taking donations after falsely claiming she had cancer has pleaded guilty.

Melissa Jones pleaded guilty to two counts of grand larceny and two counts of possession
of a forged instrument.

Prosecutors say Jones claimed to have breast cancer so she could raise thousands of dollars in donations. Jones initially claimed she went through two rounds of chemotherapy.

Ontario County District Attorney Mike Tantillo says Jones is expected to face 1 2/3 years to five years in prison when she's sentenced March 27th.
