Zoo Announces Death of Burmese Rock Python
The Seneca Park Zoo on Monday announced the death of one of its animals.
The Zoo said Daisy, a 20-year-old Burmese rock python died Saturday after spending nearly 20 years at the zoo. Doctors said it appears she died from kidney failure.
The zoo has not determined if the snake will be replaced.
Experts say this type of python typically lives 20 to 25 years.
