Man Accused of Pointing Laser at Officer Responding to Noise Complaint
A situation at Holiday Harbor in Canandaigua became heightened when officers responded to an ongoing dispute between David Noaker and his neighbor on Wednesday.
The Canandaigua Police Department reported that when officers responded for a noise complaint, Noaker placed a red laser beam on the head and chest of an officer in her car from his apartment window. It was unknown if the laser was part of a weapon.
Noaker was charged with menacing in the third degree.
Upon a search of his apartment, police said there were no weapons present but two laser pointers were confiscated.
Noaker was sent to the Ontario County Jail with no bail.
