Fire Crews Investigate Apartment Fire
Five people are being assisted by the Red Cross after an apartment fire Sunday morning.
The Rochester Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at a second floor apartment at 1,000 Ridgeway Avenue.
They say no one was home at the time of the kitchen fire. The apartment sustained smoke and water damage.
The American Red Cross says it is now assisting one adult and four children with housing and clothing.
No word yet on the cause.
