Bridge on Lake Ontario State Parkway to Be Replaced
An update is coming for a Lake Ontario State Parkway bridge in the town of Greece.
The New York State Department of Transportation will be replacing the parkway bridge over Salmon Creek in Greece.
Work on the $4.7 million project is expected to begin next week. Part of the project includes improving fishing access to Braddock's Bay.
The existing bridge, built in 1954, will be replaced with two new bridges.
The project is expected to be finished by 2014.
