A New York State Trooper shot a man after State Police said he failed to put down his weapon when Police ordered him to.

New York State Police responded to a home on North Road in Geneseo for the report of a violent domestic dispute. When they arrived, police said Greg Walsh was holding a gun on his father Kevin Walsh. Police said when they Kevin tried to get the gun from Greg but couldn't. They said Greg began hitting Kevin with the gun and then pointed it at him.
