More Than 30 Firearms Stolen in Gun Shop Burglary
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating another gun shop burglary.

It happened overnight Monday in Palmyra.

The sheriff's office says someone broke into D & M Shooting Sports located on Rt. 31 in Palmyra. An estimated 30 to 40 handguns were stolen and one rifle. None of the guns taken were assault weapons.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 315-946-5747.

This is the second burglary at a gun shop in Wayne County since November. On November 24, someone broke into Tom's Guns and Ammo in Sodus. Police say 62 handguns were stolen. The ATF is working with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office in both burglaries.
