City Hopes to Redevelop Former Pulaski Library

The city of Rochester is looking to sell and redevelop the former Pulaski Library on Hudson Avenue.
It is holding an informational meeting Wednesday morning to gather proposals for the project.
Built in 1931, the library is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It closed in 1994 due to budget constraints, but was later bought by a non-profit group who failed to turn it into a computer training center.
The city reclaimed the building in 2010. It is now looking for a developer to purchase the building and to restore it and preserve its historic nature.
The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at the Northeast Neighborhood Service Center, 500 Norton Street.
