Fire in Attic of Furlong Street House
Firefighters worked quickly through frigid weather to put out a fire on Rochester's northeast side.
Fire broke out Wednesday night in the attic of a home on Furlong Street. Fire officials say the homeowner heard a loud sound upstairs and then heard the sound of fire.
Crews made quick work of the fire, keeping the damage contained to the second floor, but two adults are displaced by the fire.
