A local salon was cutting hair to benefit West Webster firefighters on Sunday.
Larijames Salon and Spa held a five hour Cut-a Thon for the injured and fallen firefighters.
The hair cuts, which included a shampooing and a blow dry, were only $25. The event featured 50-50 raffles and prizes.
The salon tells us everyone at the salon was donating their time and their talents.
"We have many first responders that come here and support us as a salon,
and this is just one way to showing our love back to the community, helping
to raise funds," said Larry Alati, Owner.
A check will be presented to the families of Tomasz Koczowka and Lieutenant Mike Chiapperini on Tuesday.
