Police say Carl Brumfield, 48, was found lying on the porch of his home shortly after 6 p.m. Police say he had been shot once in the upper body.

This is Rochester's second homicide of the year.

Police believe Brumfield may gave been involved in an altercation before the shooting.

Police have not made any arrests and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
