Williamson Man Charged With Sharing Child Pornography Online
A Williamson man was arrested after an investigation into crimes against children.
State Police in Wolcott began an investigation in November into a person promoting child pornography on the internet.
They arrested 63-year-old Carl R. Bruns, charging him with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Police say Bruns shared files from his computer that showed children under the age of 16 engaging in sexual acts.
Bruns is in the Wayne County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
