Mother Accused of Intentionally Burning Child's Fingertips
Police said a Farmington mother has been cited by Child Protective Services for allegedly intentionally burning her two-year-old's fingertips as a form of punishment.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Brandy Cooke burned the child's fingers, causing blistering and pain.
Cooke was issued an appearance ticket. She's due back in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
