Man Accused of Embezzling Thousands from St. Mark's Church
A Brighton man is under arrest accused of embezzling more than $38,000 from St. Mark's Church.
Police in Greece charged Christopher Bush, 31, with grand larceny and falsifying business records. Police say Bush stole the money while he was employed at the church.
Bush is free on bail and is due back in court at a later date.
The Diocese of Rochester says it alerted the Greece Police Department about the suspicious activity and is cooperating with the investigation.
