A Rochester house is completely gutted after it caught fire late Friday night.

Emergency crews were called to the fire on Galusha Street just after 11 p.m.

Firefighters say flames were coming out of the doors and windows.

They say all the occupants of the home, one adult and four children, were able to get out safely.

Firefighters say the weather conditions added extra challenges to put out the fire.

"The cold weather and the snow makes getting to the hydrants a little bit tougher," said Deputy Chief, George Peterson Jr. "Everybody's got to be careful because the roadways and the driveway are all slippery, so we do have to worry about fall hazards, and just being cold and making sure all the firefighters are all dressed warm and don't get frostbite or hypothermia."

No one was injured in the fire.

Firefighters do not know the cause yet, but say that it does not appear suspicious.
