The Honeoye Central School District boys' basketball team will not be allowed on the court for sectionals this year.

Last week, the district announced the team would cancel the remainder of it's regular season due to an alleged hazing incident.

Monday, the district announced the season is over and the team will not participate in post-season play either.

The cancellations come after an alleged hazing incident that occurred on a team bus when the boys were returning from a basketball game.

Since the incident, the JV boys basketball coach and the varsity boys basketball coach have officially resigned.
