Four local hospitals are being recognized for their quality and efficiency in specialty care programs.
Excellus BlueCross BlueShield announced today Unity, Highland, Rochester General and Strong are all being recognized as Blue Distinction Centers. Blue Distinction Centers are chosen based on quality care and cost-efficiency measures.
Unity, Highland and Rochester General are being recognized for their knee and hip replacement programs and Strong was selected for its spine surgery program.
