Prospective Rochester residents flocked to City Living Sundays where home buying information and knowledgable staff helped people consider a move inside city limits.
Current residents were on hand to talk about unique qualities of their neighborhoods and information was available on local schools.
Last year, 62% of homes featured at the event were sold.
At City Living Sundays, house hunters can select homes to visit from more than a hundred open homes for sale in the area.
"I think the city has some real opportunities," said prospective homebuyer Ed Cain. "Real potential. Real potential for investment properties as well and I think the city has so much to offer people I almost feel bad for those who live in the suburbs, there's nothing to do but go to the mall."
Sunday's event featured houses on the westside. Another event next Sunday will be about eastside living.
